Hello!
I am called the Smart Hatter. Have you heard about the Mad Hatter? (No? Check it out HERE) Well, he is my twin brother who is a bit crazy, and I am, as you might have guessed, the smart one in my family. I live in the Smart Castle and I am the owner of the Magic Hats. Both the Castle and the Hats have extraordinary powers.
The Magic Hats
The Magic Hats serve their Masters (called Hatters) by performing their Masters’ wishes. It is enough to enchant them (which in practice means that they need to be informed about how they are expected to work) and wear one of the Hats to make magic. Do you want an example? Some time ago they served a group of secondary school students (I’m sorry, I don’t remember now which country they were from) who used the Hats’ power to avoid being tested in class by their teachers.
As I mentioned earlier, the Hats need to be enchanted and it is their Masters who decide on how the Hats will work for them. The Masters collectively cast a spell and the Hats can serve them for 10 months. What is interesting is that it is not always possible to enchant them strictly according to the Masters’ wish. This is because the Hats can predict the future and can see that the power which is wished for will have terrible consequences for their Masters. So they refuse to assume this power in order to protect their Masters.

Grifftonn

Unfortunately, the Magic Hats have been captured by Grifftonn, who is a genetically modified monstrosity. In fact, he is Gryphon’s clone (if you want to find out more about Gryphon, click HERE). Grifftonn is very powerful and smart. This is because he has five heads and each head is a whizz and has specialist knowledge in one subject. One of his heads is an expert on history, another one - biology, yet another one - mathematics, one - language arts, and the last one - social studies.
Regrettably, he is veeeery malicious, greedy and envious. For reasons now obvious to you, Grifftonn has taken a liking to my Smart Castle and doesn’t want to leave. What is worse, he has taken control over the Hats in the Castle and doesn’t allow anyone to use them. Sadly, nobody who is less smart than he is can defeat him. That means two things: I can’t get rid of him and the Hats can’t be used by anybody. What a waste!
What is important, however, is that because of a deficit in one chromosome he can be temporarily disabled by humans performing smart acts near his place of residence. He suffers terribly when they learn new things (for example English vocabulary, using digital or online tools, etc.) or when they have inspirational and innovative ideas that can help solve various problems. Not surprisingly, he is especially allergic to observable acts of kindness, creativity and human cooperation. That is why he doesn’t like smart humans – they are able to weaken him little by little and, as a consequence, they can take the beloved Hats from him. On the other hand, he gets stronger when people do wrong or evil things, when they are aggressive or unkind, when they copy other people’s intellectual work (which you, humans, call "plagiarism"), etc.

The Smart Castle
I live in the Smart Castle, which consists of five Chambers and the Hall of Hats. After walking through each Chamber you reach the Hall of Hats, where the Magic Hats are stored (and where malicious Grifftonn is on constant lookout!).
You are probably wondering why my Castle is called “smart”. It is because being in the Castle makes humans smarter. Yes, magic happens here! By doing smart acts people’s level of smartness increases. And only those who are smart enough can open the doors in my Castle and can pass through all the Chambers.
So, if you want to get to the Hall of Hats and take the Magic Hats, you have to become much, much smarter... You can achieve this by:
1) completing five challenges (one challenge a month to allow your smartness to mature) and
2) performing other smart acts (such as cooperation, innovation, inspiration, etc.).
Only then it is possible to disable Grifftonn and become the Master of the Magic Hats - to become THE HATTER.

Where are you now?
At the moment you are standing in front of my Smart Castle. If you want to enter the fight with Grifftonn, you need to let me know so that I can let you in (I never deal with strangers!).
But you can’t enter individually - you would be too weak to fight Grifftonn (remember, he has five heads and you have only one...). For this reason you will need to form a team that will consist of five human heads (I'm sorry... I mean: members...), each head being capable of fighting a particular one of Grifftonn’s heads.
In order to enter my Castle you need to follow the entry procedure. If you are interested, read Entry Procedure on this site or click HERE.

So, here’s your lifetime opportunity. You can get one Magic Hat and make it serve you!
BECOME THE HATTER
Hope to hear from you soon.
Yours,
Smart Hatter
